Meet Dr. Henriksen
Brad S. Henriksen, MD, is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist in pediatric eye care
and adult strabismus. He specializes in the treatment of amblyopia (lazy eye),
strabismus (eye misalignment), eyelid disorders, infant and pediatric cataract
surgery, pediatric glaucoma, and contact lenses.
Dr. Henriksen, a native of Salt Lake City, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham
Young University with a major in Nutritional Science. He attended the University of
Utah Medical School, graduating with high honors as a member of the Alpha Omega
Alpha Honor Society. He completed ophthalmology residency, followed by a
fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, at Oregon Health and
Science University’s Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon. He has also spent time
teaching surgery in Africa and Myanmar.
As a father of three kids, Dr. Henriksen takes seriously the responsibility to treat
each child as if they were his own. He enjoys counseling with parents and coming up
with the right plan together.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Henriksen enjoys running, skiing, fishing, and spending
time with his wife and children.
