July 19, 2002, American Fork, UT- Excel Eye Center of American Fork is celebrating 20 years of eye care excellence this August. Jesse N. Hunsaker, M.D., cataract and refractive surgeon, began his private ophthalmic practice in American Fork after completing a residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Hunsaker merged his practice with Excel Eye Center in 1998. The clinic is now known as Excel Eye Center of American Fork and sees patients from Salt Lake County to South Central Utah.

"When I began private practice in 1982, I never imagined I would help so many people achieve better vision. I am doing exactly what I dreamed so many years ago," said Dr. Hunsaker.

After moving to a new location at 12 N 1100 E three years ago, Excel Eye Center of American Fork added additional staff including W. Scott Lohner, M.D., cataract and refractive surgeon, and Lynn D. Stromness, O.D. The American Fork office is well equipped to serve all eye care needs including a full service optical staffed by expert opticians, contact lens department, LASIK vision correction, cataract, glaucoma, diabetic care, and more.
