TODD B. ENGEN, M.D. is one of Utah's leading authorities on reconstructive and facial cosmetic surgery. With an initial background in ophthalmology, Dr. Engen developed precise microsurgical skills, enabling him to approach aesthetic procedures with precision and attention to detail. As an expert in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Engen brings a unique depth of expertise to the field of cosmetic surgery. In the six years since Dr. Engen joined the Excel practice,
he has performed thousands of operations ranging from minimally invasive
Botox treatments to more extensive rhinoplasties and facelifts. "People

Dr. Engen graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine and
interned at the LDS Hospital in Utah. He later accomplished an ophthalmology
residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed a
fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the University
of Arizona. Prior to joining Excel in July 1998, Dr. Engen expanded his
facial cosmetic surgery skills through an accredited cosmetic surgery
fellowship at the Anderson Plastic Surgery Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dr. Engen has presented his specialized surgical work across the country at educational symposiums and medical lectures, and has authored in a number of medical textbooks. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and is Board Certified in ophthalmology. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
On a personal note…
Dr. Engen is married to Michelle and they together have two beautiful daughters. In his spare time Dr. Engen enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and enjoying the outdoors.
