CHEMICAL PEELS

The number one established cosmetic treatment today are chemical peels. There are many different types of peels including alpha hydroxy acids.

Chemical Peels cause a mild removal of the top layer of cells and refresh the skin. Benefits to the patient include retexturization, improved skin tone, softer, smoother skin, less lines and wrinkles, control of acne and fading age spots.

To achieve best results, treatments must be given on a weekly or bimonthly basis over a series of 6 to 8 treatments. The shorter the interval between the peels, the sooner the maximal benefits will be obtained. Patients can receive as many treatments as necessary, and may need to set up a maintenance program to continue results.
