The Linton family has successfully trained five puppies in the Guide Dogs for the Blind program. In addition, they have qualified one retired guide dog as a therapy dog for handicapped children. Dr. Linton is also active in his church and with his son in the Boy Scouts of America program. He currently serves as the head of the department of ophthalmology and on the medical executive committee at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
